Tia - Iced Lacquer

Tia is a photographer, graphic designer, Oregonian, and (obviously) LOVES nail polish! She recently finished her degree in Multimedia and currently spends her work hours doing photo editing for car dealerships. She would like to get into product photography and possibly the advertising industry eventually.

She has always had a small amount of nail polish, but in 2011 she got her first bottle of OPI and things really took off. Since then, her collection has expanded out of control and her love of nail polish blogging has grown along with it. Her blog is usually filled with her favorites, which include glitter-bomb indies, duochromes, and holographics. She is known for swatching a LOT of WingDust polishes.

She loves avocados, playing video games in her spare time, collecting tiny glass figurines, has been playing piano since the age of seven, is an absolute gadget nerd, and has an awesome husband named Tim.

Courtney - Swatcher, Polish-Ranger

Courtney is a mid-thirties, mother of one "spirited" kindergartner who has proven that she is far smarter than either of her parents. Her educational background is library science and technology and she currently works full-time in a government library.

A life long lover of polish, Courtney was thrilled to discover the nail communities on Reddit in early 2013. She read some amazing blogs, made fantastic friends, and was introduced to the indie polish world, which sparked a renewed obsession. Having blogged sporadically since 2003, Courtney turned her focus to nail blogging and is always trying to figure out how to take better photos with her Samsung Galaxy S3. She loves teal, shimmer, and flakies and is constantly amazed at the creativity of small-batch makers.

Courtney loves to read and sets a goal of reading 50 books a year but doesn't always reach it. It's all in the trying, right? She is a certified weirdo, (just ask her husband), a proud Canadian, loves a good pun, has far too many lip products in her purse, and always thinks the grass is greener on the other side.
